T-Ball 101

Aiden got a T-ball set for his birthday from his Aunt Jenny and Uncle Jerry, so we gave it a try yesterday. He had a good time. He didn't really take to well to actually learning the correct way to hold his hands or anything but he did pretty good anyway. And yes, if you look at the pictures, he IS batting left-handed. He would usually throw with his right but if you asked him to throw with his left he would, and he could throw well with his left. So who knows, maybe we have a lefty....he doesn't really do too much else with his left though....maybe he'll just bat and golf left handed, we'll see. :)

what goes through a little boys mind?!?

I don't think I really want to know what goes through a little boys mind....I think it would make me very nervous as the mommy of a little boy. But I wanted to share a couple pics of aiden that I took recently. They are all just random ones but crack me up...

He was very quiet one day and this is what he was busy doing, I asked him what he was doing exactly and he never gave me an answer, go figure! (he just smiled at me, in the top picture)

We're almost halfway!

Mike is almost halfway done with school!!! After this session of classes is over (which he started about 2 weeks ago) he will be halfway done with only 5 (i think) sessions to go....so he'll be ready to graduate in December. It seems like a long way away right now, but then again the first half of this year has flown by, (I can hardly believe that it is almost June) December will be here soon! He's working hard and he's doing really well to try to do things with me and Aiden, last week I had to work in the evening when he was off of work and he and Aiden went down to the park and had a great time, Aiden is still talking about it. So anway, YAY we're on the downhill slide now! Before we know it it will all be done and over with.

Aiden goes to the Dr...

We had our 3 year check up for Aiden today. This morning he was excited to go to the Doctor's house...but as soon as the nurse called his name he freaked out....wanted me to carry him (while I still had the paperwork that I had to fill out, plus all of his junk that we had to bring with us)...he didn't want to be weighed and measured....he said "I'm not big, I'm little!!" in response to the nurse telling him we were going to see how big he was. Then after this and getting his blood pressure taken, I had to try to get him to pee in a cup....LOL that was funny. I think we were in the bathroom for at least 10 minutes....and never got him to pee in the cup no matter what I tried to bribe him with or see how much he could get in the cup....oh well what do you expect....otherwise his checkup went great, the Dr. said he was a very healthy little boy, he talked and talked and talked to her....:) She said he was in the 75th percentile for both heigth and weight....which I was kind of surprised about....the last couple of years he's been in the 50th percentile, so I just expected him to kinda stay there.....he was 34 lbs and I think it was about 38 inches tall....crazy how big he's getting....alright, well that's our exciting day in Sioux City!
